In this episode I’m chatting with weight loss mindset coach, Suzanne Culberg, about finding what we are truly hungry for so that we can stop putting our lives on hold and create a life that is sustainable and in alignment with our true selves.

In this episode, Suzanne shares her own journey around weight loss and multiple career changes, and we debunk the traditional methods of weight loss, what society deems is right for us, and explore practical ways to start living the life you want today.

We also discuss:

  • That no matter what kind of change you want to make in your life, you first need to accept yourself as you are right now.
  • How you just have to start. Find a safe space to start and do it in a really small way.
  • That you must understand what is right for you, listen to your body and do that – not what society tells you is right.

Drops of Wisdom from our conversation

“A lot of people say, ‘I’ll be happy when I lose weight’ and pin so much onto that. But what happens if they lose weight and they’re still them?” – Suzanne Culberg

“It’s vitally important to accept yourself at this moment, right now, today to help you live in alignment to your true self. ” – Mya Joseph

“Look at what you want to do. How can you start to give that to yourself now?” – Suzanne Culberg

About Suzanne Culberg

Many of us want to make life long changes to the way we eat and move, but instead, we cycle through patterns of dieting (famine) and bingeing (feast). Having overcome this cycle herself, going from super-obese at 150 kilograms, Suzanne has released 78 kilograms.

Suzanne’s great passion is helping people break out of this cycle by understanding that it isn’t about the food, people can never get enough of what they don’t truly want, and instead uncovering what it is they are truly hungry for!
